The Vision:  Transformation

Living an abundant life by yielding to God's transforming power and building His Kingdom

What is a Life Transformation Team?

  • Learning how to be true disciples of Jesus Christ
  • Joining together to learn how to grow spiritually and fulfill God's purpose for our lives.
  • Worshiping, praying, studying God's word and encouraging each other as we follow Christ.
  • Creating an environment for accountability in our daily devotional time.
  • Learning to tear down strongholds and areas of personal weakness that hinder our walk with Christ
  • Praying for family and friends who do not know Christ

The Purpose:

To provide an opportunity for friends and members to develop a deeper walk with God and learn to be led by the Holy Spirit.

The Power of Two or Three

"For where two are three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst."  Matthew 18:20

 1. Radical Obedience - "If you love me, you will obey what I command." (John 14:15) Jesus will radically transform our lives and those around us if we let Him. The very core of an LTT (Life Transformation Team) is about listening to Jesus and obeying Him. Each meeting should include asking one another, "How will I obey what I've heard?"

 2. Commitment to the Great Commandment -  "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself." (Lule 10:27)

 3. Commitment to the Great Commission - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching  them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:18-19) Each meeting should include asking, "Who will you tell this week?"

 4. Rapid Multiplication - The Great Commission means making disciples. Help others start LTTs so they can experience transformation and make disciples.

Goals

1. To fulfill the commands of the Great Commission by making disciples

2. To train and raise up spiritually mature leaders who can reproduce and build the Kingdom of God

3. To create an environment for spiritual growth by providing regular opportunities for ministering to the needs of God's people.

How do LTTs help me grow spiritually?

These groups provide a safe place to ask important spiritual quesitona and be held accountable in applying God's word.

Why are questions so important to a disciplie's life? One goal in LTTs is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He lease us through the process of spiritual growth. As we study God's word and spend time with Him in prayer we experience the renewing our minds. Questions reveal what the Holy Spirit is doiing in your life.

We will encourage each other by sharing our dreams, passions and struggles with one another. "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works." (Heb. 10:24)

LTT is a simple way to impart the essential elements of a vital spiritual walk to people who need Jesus to change their lives from the inside out. It fosters heart transformation and empowers believers at any spiritual level to accomplish the work of reproducing spiritual disciples who can in turn reproduce others.

How to Participate

It all starts with developing a daily quiet time ... a time to meet the Lord face to face on your knees and in the Word.  If you've never done this before it may seem overwhelming. This Quiet Time.pdf will help. Please download and prayerfully review.
