“Cedar Students @ East Ellijay"

Cedar trees are known for growing in four different directions:

(1) Upwards- Teaching us to grow up in our faith and daily answer the "upward call" of Jesus Christ,

(2) Outwards- Teaching us to reach out to others and influence others with the Gospel, (3) Onwards- Teaching us to be dedicated and consistent in our relationship with Christ,

(4) Downwards- Teaching us to get rooted, and stay connected to “the Rock” of our salvation.

By design, Cedar Students is a place where Middle and High School students are not only shown how to embrace a more meaningful relationship with God, but also more meaningful relationships with their peers; ones with Christ at the center! At Cedar Students, they will grow up, down, out, and on (see above); planted like trees in the soils of God’s mercy, and rooted to the right thing, deep, deep down… so they can go up, up, up in their relationship with Him!
